Mam bottles are self sterilising, you just wash them pop them a certain way round and then put them in the microwave! Xx
Just a fyi everyone says mam are good and self sterilising but they tend to go yellow when you do it in the microwave after a few goes
@Louisa huh, haven’t had that with our bottles before and we used them for 6 months sterilising twice a day x
@Paige I was going to get mam bottles but wanted the tommee tippee UV steriliser and dryer, do the mam bottles fit or is it just for tommee tippee bottles do you know?
@Amelia you may be lucky lol It’s just what I’ve heard from a few people on forums etc may be what type of formula you use too
@Paige agree! 😊
We use the MAM bottles and the Milton cold water steriliser. We sterilise his dummies and teething toys in there too
@Sophie I’m pretty sure they fit, you just have to unscrew all the parts 😊
@Paige 100% i was gonna say the same thing
We had Mam bottles since my little girls was born, and sterilised them in the microwave since then. None of mine have discoloured apart from one that went in the dishwasher.
Nuby uv steriliser x
They are self sterilising x
We just use the microwave! Saves space on the work top x
I’ve used MAM bottles with both my girls (first nearly 3 years ago) and only ever used the microwave to sterilise them after washing with hot soapy water. I’ve never had an issue with discolouration or number markings rubbing off x

We use microwave when at someone else’s or cold water Milton when at home. Just bought a £2 plastic tub and some Milton tablets. Both work just aswell as eachother we just found the microwave more of a faff when needing to do a few
@Louisa mine aren’t yellow and I’ve had mine for ages! Just have to change the teats regularly as recommended x
Don’t forget to put water in the bottle of the mam bottles or it does discolor the bottom part . I haven’t had a problem with my mam bottles .
I’m sure there is a MAM steriliser I seen one the other day in smyths xx
Milton cold water steriliser
We've got the MAM bottles and have been using Milton cold water steriliser. Much easier, just wash the bottles and pop them in the Milton bucket. Take out when wanting to make a bottle. When out visiting we've sterilised the odd bottle in the microwave.
You don't need to buy a steriliser for mam bottles, as long as you have a microwave that's all you need as they are self sterilising, it should show you in the instructions howjrs done
How much was this set for and where from ?
@Noorie the set was around £49? I got mine on Amazon !! It comes with 2 small , 2 medium , 2 large bottles and 3 lots of spare parts + a dummy and teets x
Don’t waste your money!! I just wash mine and use the microwave as they self sterilise
@Noorie you can get a set of 6 bottles a holder for them and a dummy and a few other bits from smyths for £40
Can I ask where you ordered these from! The only ones I can find online are the grey colour which I don’t like as much! Yours seems to be more beige? X
@Emma I found them on Amazon , just type in MAM bottles they should come up with different colour options ! x
Smyth have the cream set online for 39.99 xx

@Savannah @Azaria thank you ladies 🥰 x
I have a cold water sterilising unit (just a tub really) but the MAM ones can just go in the mic anyway x
Definitely so much easier to just sterilise them as they are in the microwave! x
