I did it.. don't judge...

I put the car seat in the car... mainly for selfish reasons I'm nearly 34 weeks and I'm struggling to get in and out of the car when parked in a car park.. So now I can park in the mother and child bays without feeling judged, right? No? I dunno, I don't care anyways 🤣

Genius 🤣

I parked in one on Saturday as I was sick of squeezing in n out the car!

Haha love it. I'm doing it soon! I had a dream that I had my baby but the car seat wasn't in the car and I couldn't figure it how to put it in properly. Using a parent parking space is also brilliant!

I genuinely had to squeeze out the car today was not ideal in all honesty 😂😂

@Charlotte it took me and my partner a few times to get it in and not wobble around so definitely worth doing xx

You can park in them anyway

@N 💞 oh really 😅

I've been parking in them last few months as they are for pregnant ladies too as well as those with children 😁

@Sarah yea definitely. So I’d probably take the car seat out again, if you have an accident with the seat in the car it will need replacing

I mean, the time will come when you’ll be cursing people for parking in those spaces who don’t have a child in their arms, as you try to squeeze your little person out of a regular bay 😂 But if there’s plenty of spaces for Mums/Dads with babes in arms then it’s fine 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Gina would you curse a heavily pregnant woman then? Cos I know I definitely wouldn’t! Not having been there and had someone park so close to my car I had to climb over from the passenger side to get in, I’d totally understand.

@N 💞 I am a heavily pregnant woman. I have been a heavily pregnant woman in the past. I was making a joke.

I mean technically you are .. with child! 😆😆 It's so bloody hard to squeeze out of the car when cars are parked so tight together! Luckily I have a child with me when i go shopping anyway 😆😆

You can park in mother and child bays while pregnant ☺️

From 30 weeks your allowed to park in parent and child due to bump and struggling to get in and out of the car in a normal space if someone parks to close.

Honestly had to wait for someone to come back to their car a couple weeks back because they'd parked so close I couldn't get in the car 😂 even tried climbing over from passenger side but nope couldn't do it. Since then I've also been parking in parent and child spaces! I was stood waiting for 40 minutes and shall not be doing it again 😂

@N 💞 ah yeah makes sense - just the car seat? Can I leave the isofix in? X

I park there anyways. It’s very obvious that I’m with child :)

A little bit of advice if you’re already driving around with a car seat, make sure you put it on your car insurance! If you have any bangs before it’s used, you won’t be able to use it. So get it insured and covered for peace of mind 😊

You can park in them when you’re pregnant anyway 🙂 I do!

Hahaha this made me laugh. Always handy to have the car seat in the car at this stage anyway just incase of early arrival. You can use them anyway if you're pregnant! X

@Katie this is interesting I didn't think of that.
