I’m getting more and more increased clear discharge and little small bits of what I can’t only imagine is part of the mucus plug? Is this any indication that labor is soon?
The short answer is… unfortunately no. Or… it could or could not be, but it’s not necessarily a ‘sign’ of labor. I lost part of my plug Saturday evening and then more overnight into Sunday and my doctor reminded me it isn’t a sign of labor. However! Losing the plug and increased discharge can be a sign of cervical ripening, which is your body and cervix preparing for labor. Unfortunately there’s also no timeline for that. One can lose their plug/start dilating days or weeks before labor. Every body is different 🤷🏼♀️
The way I see it as at the very least, a sign of natural progression TOWARDS labor.
