I’m sorry that sounds really hard (but unfortunately normal too!) Is she more settled during the day? I remember with our daughter that she would sleep most of the day on my husband between feeds and that’s when I got most of my rest. Night times were a different story and I barely slept at night for 6 weeks solid.
@Glitter my baby is 5 weeks today, how did you get yours to sleep through the night 🤗 😴 mine is still waking up every 2.5 /3 hours x
Honestly your doing Amazing! It's a massive lifestyle change and your hormones are everywhere. I've just had my second on Saturday & my 1st is 15 months old and wow is it hard but it does get easier. If your feeling really down please speak to someone about it! Baby blues are a real thing & are no good to keep bottled up! I'm here if you ever need to chat xx
Postpartum just hit and it’s the hardest job in the world hands down. Plus I’m doing it alone. The no sleep is the worst. You’re not alone!!
It gets easier later on, my 6 weeks old now sleeps through the night.
Going on 2h of sleep a night max. Baby is 3 weeks and I'm going mental lol. I love him so much though 😭
Same thing with my 2 day old. My son was the same and I think I had forgotten. She just wants boob all the time but they are agony because her latch is bad. I'm having to sit up all night with her. I'm here with you!
The sleep thing is real. I’m currently repeatedly trying to settle my 3 day old in his crib so I can get a small sleep! Don’t be so hard on yourself though. These hormones are doing us dirty.
This, I’m in the same position baby is 2 weeks old today 🥺🥲
Yeah totally same experience here. It’s way way harder than I expected - I don’t remember anyone telling me this either altho it seems to be common knowledge
