Why is your induction booked so early? @Rachelle & @Liz I thought people had sweeps and then induction for medical reasons or if the baby was seriously late. Easier said then done girl but just try be patient your not even 40 weeks yet @Liz my due date was yesterday and I'm dying for this baby to come out so trust me I'm so with you on the wanting to baby to come out lol x

@MiaMy induction date is set for 5 days after my due date. I personally do not want to go a full week or even plus some over for a few reasons. I believe every doctor is different. I could have elected to be induced right at 39 weeks if I chose (without medical reason). I’d prefer to let it happen naturally.
I’m 40w2d and have had zero symptoms. I have my induction scheduled for this Sunday and Im going to do a membrane sweep on Thursday. It just seems like he doesn’t want to come out yet lol
@Rachelle I wish I had some advice to give. So much easier said then down when told to just be patient. Only a few more days mama!
@Kristine I’m curious did you request the membrane sweep? Or was that their suggestion to get things moving?
@Mia honestly idk why it’s so early. This is my first baby and the doctors change every time I go in…. I had a resident doctor who mentioned the sweep but I had never heard of it and her explaining it I just didn’t feel comfortable having her do it and honestly her being a resident doctor. But coming home and reading more on it I wish I had done it
@Liz My OB suggested it during my 39w appt but I opted out of it. Now that I’m at 40w I want to do it in hopes of it starting my labor naturally.

yes me! my due date is 9/23 and the only thing i’ve really had are BH and occasional, very random cramping. had my 3rd cervical check yesterday and i finally dilated to 1cm 😒 it’s progress but i feel like he’s not gonna make an effort to come out for another week or so. if we don’t see any more progress we will schedule induction (they need a week notice) and hope that he starts making his way naturally.
I’m 38 w + 5 days and haven’t had any symptoms either, trying to hang in there I have my next Drs appt this Thursday hopefully they can give me an idea of what’s to be expected they haven’t discussed induction with me at all and haven’t done any cervical checks.
I am in the same exact boat as you, except I don't have an induction scheduled. 39+2 due this Sunday. No signs at all and I haven't had any cervical checks. I'm really hoping baby boy decides to come this week or next on his own. 🥹
I’m due the 24th too !! No signs right now only half a cm dilated 😢. Cramping only about 3 times other than that nothing but doctor told me we will discuss induction next appointment, on the 25th 😫😫😫

I’m due the 25th in the same exact boat. I have an appointment Friday to see if I’m dilated any. If not I’m scheduling induction
I’m in the exact same boat and my due date is tomorrow the 20th and induction the 22nd 😩😐 I’m trying to go naturally but same as you no bloody show, no Braxton Hicks contractions …. Only minor cramping here and there once in a blue but that’s it no mucus plug…. I’m just hoping to go naturally but I have no signs that he’s ready to come down
