It's better to pump after breastfeeding so baby can get what they need otherwise you won't know how much will be enough

Hi @Polina Actually my baby's weight wasn't increasing so the doc told me to give bottle feeds only to track her intake. However, I am scared that my supply will go down if she doesn't latch. I am only able to pump when she sleeps.

I’ve been told to pump shorter sessions (10-15 Mins) after babe has been on the breast to help increase milk supply. And to pump every time baby has a bottle so your body knows you still need to make milk as if baby was on the boob to maintain supply.
