Makeup In labour 😂

I’m taking a little bit in with me, just the essentials to make me look, and more importantly feel, a bit more awake and alive 😂

I'm 100% taking mine, getting my lashes done the morning of my induction too 😅

@Rebecca i have an apt to get lvl lashes done, I understand not caring what you look like in labour cause obvs there is more things to worry about, but I feel like it will wake me up and doing my makeup always makes me feel like I can do anything 😂 let’s go full glam hahah

100%! I've known my induction date for the last week so have been busy with hair and nail appointments haha x

I’m not planning to as I suspect I’ll feel grotty/sweaty and make up wouldn’t help me personally, whereas I’d opt for a cold flannel etc. This is about what makes you feel good so if it’s a full face then go for it! Anything that makes you feel confident and happy is a yes 🤗

No, absolutely not. I didn't take any makeup when I had my first and won't be for this one either. I don't want to get makeup on my newborn baby's skin and I also don't expect my appearance to be on my mind all that much when my vagina is on fire.

If you want to wear makeup while in labour, take it with you. Better to have it with you and then you can choose. Make sure it's within easy reach so helpers can find it quickly.

Oh I'm taking my entire vanity case with me 😂 Most likely having an epidural all being well so I'll have plenty of time to touch up my make up etc lol. I know I'll definitely feel better than I would if I went make up free feeling like a mess x

I’ve got a couple bits in my bag! But having my lashes done on Friday so hoping bubs hold on till then 🤣
