Baths 🛁

How often does everyone bath their babies? I was thinking of having a bath before bed as a part of her night routine but don’t want to over do baths if that’s even possible!💛

Initially only 2-3 times a week. Now she is 3.5 months and I have gradually started to massage and bathe her almost everyday.

Every day we don’t use bubbles or shampoo we use a soap alternative unless we have been swimming and then we shampoo her hair.

I bath my little boy who nearly 9month every other day, so tomorrow is his bath day then miss a day, then bath day. Always done this since he was born, doesnt have dry skin or anything. Xx

Every three days because he has aczema

Every other day

They shower every day for 20 minutes. Hair wash every other day. Bath once a week rinse off after the bath. Dinner, shower, bed

Around 3/4 times a week - we introduced baths every night as part of her routine but she developed bad eczema so we were advised to cut down as bathing too much could dry out her skin xx

My LG gets a bath every night as it's part of her bedtime routine. But we only wash hair every other night/every 3rd bath x

3 times a week and use cotton pads and warm water as a freshen-up for the in-between days 🙂

Depends on how old …. Under 6 months 2x a week with wipe downs in between that

Every other day, if he gets mucky for whatever reason and needs a bath, I will give him a bath even if he's not due one that day x

My little girl is 14 weeks and she gets bath bottle bed, she loves her baths though but if she hated them I wouldn’t do it everyday x

Properly twice a week (wash hair and use body wash), but put her in water everyday as part of bedtime routine

Every night before bed since birth.

Did twice a week until about 1m/6w and then a few times a week until going to every other day by 2ish months and still do that now at 5m

We started with every other day, now we try every night but don't always get home in time etc.

Two or three times a week - we are weaning so that can vary depending on the meal 😅

3 times a week as she has eczema xx

Every night but I only use soap every second night. It’s not part of his bedtime routine

I bath my lg 2-3 times a week, she is 4.5 months. I bath her with water and cotton wool every morning befor I dress her. I Give her bum and hands a really good clean, she gets fluffy in between her fingers so I always bath them and make sure they are clean

My lo is 9 mos and I do every night. He gets super dirty now that he’s mobile. It used to be 2-3x a week when he was smaller

Every 2-3 days. I just wipe them down on the days I don’t bathe them.

We do twice a week, but if you want to do it daily maybe don’t use any body wash etc on some of the days, so they can play in the water but not getting overly washed ☺️

Everyday as routine

3 times a week unless he needs more, getting him dried and dressed afterward is so difficult its unreal

Every day prior to her bedtime

Every day as part of routine

Everyday - 9 month old. She gets very messy at dinner so needs a good wash and loves playing with her bath toys. Its her routine now xx

We bath our LO twice sometimes only once a week (sponge clean bits that can get icky like neck, face and whatnot everyday) We would love to do it more but the water where we live is so hard that it dries her skin out horribly 😭 So until we can find some form of magic bubble bath it’s twice a week for us, which is so sad because our little girl loves water!! (3 months almost)

2-3 times a week but im a SAHM so hes almost always home.

Every other day, but if you want to start a routine I would do every day for 2 weeks or so, just so baby associates bath with bed

I bath my baby girl every night as it is part of her routine

We have always bathed every night since cord fell off

Every other night for our 7 month old x

We wash her face every night, bath every other day. She's 4 months now but we've done the same timing since her umbilical cord came off.

Everyday

One or twice a week, he’s 8 weeks

We started out once every other day and since she’s been mobile we increased to everyday as part of the bedtime routine - 🛁 🍼 💤 (except one day a week when she has swimming the next morning). We limit the time in the bath and make sure to apply moisturiser everyday and so far her skin is lovely and healthy, no dryness.

Twice a week currently as we moved house and the bath doesn’t work! When we get the new bathroom we’ll probably go 3 times a week/every other night x

I do every other night as I’ve read it’s to good for their skin to do every day right now. But honestly I am not even sure at what age I could increase it? But like someone else said, I will give him a bath two days in a row if he gets dirty or something. But since I have sensitive skin myself, I decided I would just do him every other day in case everyday was too much for him.

Every other day. Baby is like Mommy and Sweats ALOT at night, so he's Stinky by day 3

I bathe my baby about 2-3 times a week. It’s not good to bathe them everyday because it can cause dry skin

Twice a week for us (one of those is on nursery day). Then we do bottle and bed.

Every other night for us as part of night time xx

My baby is 4 months on the 24th, and I started out with only once a week. However, I like many women on here have started to try to incorporate it into her bedtime routine. I did wait until she was 3 months to start this though because there's certain changes to their skin makeup that needs to happen so that they won't be a risk for dry skin or eczema. So now I'm introducing more baths each week, and they're always at the start of her bedtime feed. Then we get her all snuggled up to cuddle and eat while I usually sing or put music on. On Saturday nights we watch a cartoon movie to put her to sleep.

We do bath every 2nd night unless gets dirty

we do bathtime every 2 days and wash after every other bathtime x

We couldn't do bath that frequently right now because it dries my little girl out. She's only had about 4 baths as a 2 mo old honestly. But she's never spit up or had crazy blow outs, she'll start having one once a week soon. We bath my toddler twice a week or more as needed, but he spends a lot of his time inside due to weather and keeps pretty clean at meal times.

We didn’t plan on bathing every night originally however it’s defo a good part of our bedtime routine bath, bottle, bed & he’s usually got food in his hair 😂 he’s 15 months now

I bath him once a week. He gets far too excited for it to be part of his bedtime routine.
