Hungry baby milk, worth it or ?

Phoned the GP earlier for my 15 week old having a cough for almost a week, they asked some questions over the phone and asked about feeding how much he has whether he’s gone off feeds… I said no he drinks between 30-40 oz in 24 hours, they said to me to speak to health visitor about hungrier milk but I’m unsure. I use kendamil and it doesn’t have a hungry baby formula. I wouldn’t say he’s constantly hungry? He drinks 4-5 oz during the day every 1-2 hours and on a night time 3 oz every 3-4. Is hungry milk worth it or just for marketing? He was 9lbs when born and at his last check in was in the 97th percentile for weight and length….

I’ve tried the hungry baby milk, but it didn’t really work well for us as this milk takes longer to digest so our girl struggled with constipation

My LG is 4 months old in 2 weeks (so Idk how many weeks she is, lost count 😂) but she has 8oz (240ml) every 2-3 hours during the day and sleeps from around 9pm until about 7am every night, not had any doctors or HV say about hungry milk when I've said how much she has I would assume it's just marketing to try get more money. My HV said not to bother with the stage 2 milk and just keep baby on stage 1 milk when she starts solids which I already planned to do anyway

@Emma that’s what I was thinking that it just wouldn’t do much difference🤷🏻‍♀️Plus I think cause our boys were big at birth they will always feed more! X

My little boy has around 1000ML a day (which is 35OZ) he has 210ML (7oz) every 3/4 hours. I spoke to my HV and a feeding clinic and they said hungry milk wasn’t really worth it. It’s just thicker so fills them for long. My LB was 8ib14oz when born I had him weighed 30th Aug and he weight a stone and was on the same percentile line (75th)
