Has anyone NOT had a good experience with Dr. Morales at Willow OBGYN?

I’m thinking about switching providers as I’ve not been impressed with this office. They hardly answer the phone, and the phone line has been fully down all day today (this is not the first time I’ve run into this). Their phlebotomist never shows up and they don’t even bother to call to reschedule you…knowing that you will need blood work done that day. Furthermore, for us natural-minded moms that don’t want to vaccinate, just be aware that Dr. Morales believes this to be “pseudo-science”. I used to believe this too until I had more friends, acquaintances and loved ones than I can count having vaccine injuries. I shared this with her and there was no validation of my concerns. I’m just so annoyed and I’m due in like two months and scrambling to figure out a plan. I’ve been so unsettled by this OB office. Thinking about switching to a birthing center and midwife. Any recommendations y’all have would be greatly appreciated.

She is my doctor. I do notice some front office issues (which a lot of offices have to be honest) and it is difficult to reach them by phone. However, I have never had a issue with the phlebotomist she is great with me (yes they should inform when she’s not there had this happen to me, again a front office issue) but she herself is great. Also Dr Morales is one of the only doctors in this town that would allow me to try for VBAC after the birth of my son 13 months ago (I’m 24 weeks pregnant) and I trust her judgment medically. Hope all works out if you choose to go another route, but medically speaking I wouldn’t be concerned about how you will be treatment during delivery. Vaccine issues for kids- try to find a pediatrician you like as she doesn’t see children anyway.

Check out Westover birth center if you can - had a wonderful birth there with midwives Julie and Robin. They're fantastic! I completely understand your concerns and you deserve to be validated. Feel free to reach out if you have questions
