Is the carrycot supposed to rock or be fixed?

When we went to mamas and papas all of there ones rocked and the car seats - when i asked she said it’s designed like that to help rock bubba to sleep if your stationary - i hope this helps xxx

Ours always rocked slightly, once the weight of a baby is in it it’s not noticeable x
