Angry 4 year old

My 4 year old enjoys writing & drawing, have you tried getting her to draw what she wants for Christmas, or going over some letters, colouring books etc. I find this settles my younger one she’s normally bored n becomes irritable and angry I’m not paying her attention whilst I’m working

take the screen time away and i guarentee you she will be a completely different kid! i see it all the time, a week with no screen time and theyre like different children xx

I have the same. My 4 year old has tantrums galore and I’m losing the will to live. I also have a 8mo who’s suffering because of the 4year old.

Sometimes it’s overstimulation and sometimes it’s understimulation. Try the quiet hour, I did it with my kiddo for a while and the wonder it worked. She’s bored with the tablet we got her almost a year ago and would rather be outside. I was also an outside kid, but her dad is a video gamer, and she loves video games. She’s been begging us to let her play halo🤦‍♀️. I taught her things like colors and numbers through Minecraft, and we play often together, building houses and talking about stuff, like different kinds of wood, doors, what tool to use when, and we’ve began to build and make a giant farm that we have to manage for the villagers😅. Maybe I’m just weird, but it works for us.
