my contractions weren’t bad at all. at first i was having back contractions, but i just thought it was very bad pregnancy back pain. i’m terrible at handling pain, so i didn’t sleep at all (didn’t know they were contractions) my actual contractions right before having my son weren’t that bad. felt like rlly annoying period cramps
Honestly, contractions weren’t bad for me 😫 The worst pain pregnancy and childbirth gave me was middle of the night Charlie horses & kidney stones lol. I labored to a 7 without an epidural (on pitocin) I wouldn’t be too worried about contraction pain. It’s short lived and so worth it in the end!
@Tia same! I labored to a 7 without an epidural and then it stopped working on the left side of my body when i got to a 9. Honestly wasn’t as bad as i thought it was going to be!
When I was pregnant with my first baby I didn’t even realise I was having contractions I stayed home for two days with the pain me just thinking it’s normal for pregnancy two days later the pain got so bad I called an ambulance at 5am in the morning got brought in and I was 4cm. I’m just shit scared now for when I’m going into labour with my second because what if I end up having her at home and not realise it’s contractions I’m having
not to scare you but to me contractions are 100% worse than lightning crotch. I do have a very low pain tolerance though!!
