I applied for OSAP as I am still a full time student and enrolled in fall/winter classes both in person and online. I just applied through regular application and they offered grant/loan so there should be a chance you will get it if you apply. Are you taking only one course? They require a certain percentage of attendance for it though.
@Ilaria I have not applied yet. But currently, I am on maternity leave with EI. I plan to enroll for January
@Cassy I am currently on Mat leave too and my LO is only 6 months currently so it should work for application wise. I also gave them a call to double check before applying.
@Ilaria oh wow. this gives me hope. did you get the grant too or just student loan?
@Cassy I got the choice of both but went with one option of choice (grant). I would say just look over the requirements and worth a shot to apply.
Hi Llaria, just to ask again, did you notify your EI maternity leave before you start your classes?
I tried. They haven't offered a grant. But they offered me student loan.
