Clotrimazole Tablets
Has anyone had to use clotrimazole vaginal tablets to treat thrush?
Doctor says take 1 500mg tablet per night, but the leaflet states 1 tablet is effective for 3 days. I called the surgery and they have again confirmed it should be taken every night. I’m just concerned on the effect it might have on my baby if I take too much.
I’ve already called doctors and asked once, I don’t feel I can clarify this again so wondered if any of you ladies have used the same tablets ?x
I used them from August up to October. 1 tablet one off in August and another one in September. As the thrush was still there, I had to take it for 3 nights plus the cream. No worries they are absolutely safe! Better to treat the thrush than leaving the infection there and this might affect the baby.
