High HCG levels
Hello I’m currently 5 weeks and have had my first beta HCG level. It’s come out as over 13,000. My next is in 48 hours to check it’s doubling.
Has anyone else had higher HCG levels early on? Is this normal? I’ve read it can be a sign of Down’s syndrome? It can’t be non identical twins as i only transferred one blastocyst.

Even when you only transfer 1 egg, there’s a higher chance of that splitting and turning into 2 when doing IVF x

Could be a sign of twins apparently also But you might just have higher HCG.. might unfortunately mean you’re more likely to get hyperemesis gravidarium (severe sickness) x
