Breastfed babies, how long are your babies sleeping

My baby is EBF and not sleeping very well. A typical night looks something like this; 3-4 hours, wake for feed then 2x 2-3 hours, wake for feed and one final one hour sleep before waking up for the day! How about you? Starting to wonder if I’ll ever get more sleep 😴

Mine will go 4.5-5.5 hour stretch wake for a feed then a 2.5-3 hour stretch then an 1-1.5 hour stretch then up for the day most of the time xx

3 hours, then 2 hours, then an hour and a half, then 1 hour, then 45 minutes, then 30 minutes. Then up for the day. Or rather he's not ready for the day but my toddler most certainly is 😂 I'm dead.

That's exactly the same for me!

@Marie hoping it gets better for both of us soon!!

@Naomi well done to your husband! Mine used to do this but I can’t sleep after the 5/6am wake up now 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Charlotte that’s incredible! Mine will only sleep swaddled and with white noise but still can’t manage more than 3-4 hours in one go

Same here, mine follows your exact same schedule….

Our LO goes to bed at 7 pm. I do a dream feed at 10om. He wakes up at 2.30 for a feed and then 5 pm for a feed. After 5, my husband takes him to let me have a long lie. He will contact Nap with dad from 5 to 7ish.

Mine goes from 10/1030 til around 5 or 6ish. She's been doing this for around 3-4 weeks now (she's 13 weeks) We started off with the initial 4 hour block of sleep, and then after 2am it was every 2 hours after that. She just seemed to graduate into sleeping for longer of her own accord. We do get random wake ups every so often but mainly now 7 hour stretches. I don't know if it was coincidental or not but I found when I started swaddling her sleep stretches improved.

At the moment he's sleeping through from about 10pm until around 5 / 6. He does sometimes wake early hours 3 - 4 ish but will go back down after a feed . Super lucky with him as my 2 year old still doesn't sleep through

Same, and been the same since birth. Had a few 7/8 hour stints but that's it. And seems to be getting worse 🤣
