Its a new skill for them to learn and takes time. You need to go at their own pace and be patient. You cant force them to use one if they are not ready you"ll just make it stressfull for you both. Normal age to start is anytime between 18 months - 2 years but as all new skills each baby is different and will learn at different times to others so dont stress yourself if others are potty trained but yours isnt they all do it in their own time. They will show you signs of when they are ready. I work in childcare and all of our 2 year olds are still in nappies so completly normal. Also when you do start the best time to start them is in the spring/summer as you have the warmer months when they have fewer clothes to take off and washed clothes and bedding dry more quickly 😊
@Derin honestly don't stress if they not ready they panic an have loads of addicents from my experience
@Derin Yh I just wish I started earlier he would've been out of nappies he was sitting up at 4months wish I started then Sooner u start the better in my opinion I can't imagine changing a poo nappy now and only need one wipe to clean the but hole and just fish the poo down the toilet I feel like it's better for him and me and I'm hoping he would be out nappies before 2
@Sonia oh that’s good 😊 that mean I still have long way to go 😂
@Nakita Oh that’s good not bad still I which to start early
@Faz woow really lucky you 😁
@Faz Oh okay
@Emma Is that not too long 😁
My son was 2½ when he was completely out of nappies
My daughter was fully out of nappies by 2 1/2 hoping to do the same with my 16 month old x
Feel like 2/3 years is a bit late to be keeping them In nappies I want mine out of nappies very soon
I've been potty training mine since he was 9months not out of nappies yet but my sister potty trained hers from 5months and hers was out of nappies by the time they were 11/12 months old so it up to when u want to from mu experience the earlier the better mines not out cuz I started late but saying that I've never had to change a poo nappy since starting it so he only does a pee in his nappy
As soon as they can sit up freely by themselves
I think they say around 3 is average age

@Dion Thanks Dion , he’s not showing any signs of being ready yet, He’s 16month old I don’t know if I should start it with him now or wait a little bit longer
When he is showing signs of being ready. Mostly potty train from 1, some kids aren’t ready until 2/3 etc. x
Thank you so much mummies all of your comments are very kind and helpful ❤️❤️❤️
