Assalamalaykum sisters, A reminder for myself first and foremost, let us be better in the way we approach advising others. Islam is a religion of peace and mercy. "Giving sincere advice is one of the prominent characteristics of Islamic brotherhood; it is part of perfect faith and ihsaan, for a Muslim’s faith cannot be perfect until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself, and until he hates for his brother what he hates for himself. This forms the motive for giving sincere advice." Slandering, shaming and judging others and their situations is not the way forward. With so many people against us as Muslims, the least we should be doing is sticking together. May Allah strengthen us all, keep us steadfast in our deen, keep our marriages strong, our families together, and the ummah united.
