Leapfrog toys
Mother-in-law wants to buy our one year old a leap frog book toy. I am not sure if this is good or bad…. I feel like it is just another addicting toy that will get the kids used to playing with a tablet or the phone but what are Montessori mom’s feeling about this toy?

@Lauren thank you, yes I can see how that could happen.
This would not be considered Montessori especially for such a young age. We want to reinforce reality rather than cartoons and unrealistic things at this age since they are still discovering this world and this can confuse their understanding of it.

I wouldn't recommend. My son plays with this toy occasionally at a library. Everytime he plays with it he gets aggravated more easily and interacts less with others/surrounding 😐
