Potential hashimotos?

Hi all. For the past few months I’ve felt really unwell. Headaches, slight numbness and pain in my joints, muscles, suffering with depression, anxiety and hair loss. I’ve had a lot of trouble getting a doctor to take the symptoms seriously as they have put it all down to mental health. Recently had my thyroid blood tests back and they show my serum TSH level is 7.62 miu/L and my TPO antibodies are 1300. Doctor has said I am subclinical hypothyroid so shouldn’t treat it. But I feel absolutely awful. Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any advice? I have read that giving up gluten could possibly help high antibodies. I’m confused as my heartrate isn’t super low it’s actually pretty high at times and I’m not gaining a huge amount of weight so I’m not sure if you have hypothyroidism you have to have all of the symptoms to have it 😫. Just want to find a way to reduce the constant pain and not feel depressed anymore 😢

I'm confused how you can be subclinical hypothyroid with a TSH of 7.62? Anything about 4.5/5 is considered hypo, ideally for a woman below 40 (not sure how old you are!) It should be around 1-2.5

Also - some studies show you can reduce antibodies by giving up the typical "inflammatory" foods, like gluten and dairy, but it doesn't work for everyone. Your best bet is to get a full thyroid panel done and then get medicated. My TSH hit 129 before I was medicated and then it took 15 months of fighting to get them to test my other thyroid labs, and "surprisingly" I have hashimotos too. It's a real uphill struggle for thyroid patients. I don't get why. I guess part of it is that the symptoms can be passed off as other causes.
