Dogs- kennel cough vaccine and pregnancy
Heya, but of a niche one… my two dogs are due their kennel cough vaccines and I’ve been told previously by the vets that they don’t advise it when there are pregnant people in the house- however, now they are saying they don’t know a risk!!! Google is very divided, I was wondering if any of you had been in this situation? Obviously want to protect my dogs but also don’t want to make myself or my baby ill in the process!!

True, it's very mixed online, from what I can gather the risk is quite low of you catching it is it possible for your partner to be the most involved with the dogs till the house is safe after
I didn't know there was a risk 🤦♀️ My dog had her top up in October as she went to kennels and it is a requirement they have it. I would have been 18 weeks pregnant at the time and I'm 24 tomorrow and all been fine

I work in a vets! I'm not allowed to go near the vaccinations or near a dog that's just had the vaccination! X

If in doubt wait it out
