To repiercing or not Repierce 😭 a cheeky question

Hi mommas. I had to have an emergency cerclage yesterday at 20weeks because my cervix was opening. Very nerve wrecking experience but the procedure went excellent better than expected! I had to take out all my piercings though for operations in case they needed to put me under to sleep. By the time I was feeling okay to put my piercings back in, my cheek piercings of 3 years had closed 😭 I feel like a HUGE part of myself just disappeared and yeah, I have cute dimples now but I wasn’t ready to take them out. Anybody have experience with repiercing the scar tissue? Any issues or complications that made it not worth it?
