Thanks ladies. For those who have registered, when did you do this around the busy-ness of baby born and recovering etc? I see you have 42 days to do it...
We registered baby 3 weeks after he was born no particular reason why though. As per previous comment just want to add both parents need to be present if you’re not married
We did it at the family hub in shiremoor, there are several over north Tyneside you just need to ring up and book an app. Also I think I called up when she was about 10 days old and got an app for a week or 2 later x

I had all 3 of mine at nsech and registered them at cramlington (next to concordia in the registry office) we had to wait the full 6 weeks at they didn't have any suitable appointments. (August 2022) x
I registered my little one in howdon family hub! When your midwife comes out after you give birth if you ask them they’ll be able to tell you the nearest one to you xxx
We did this too and you register either at Hexham, Alnwick etc
