Childcare cost in Glasgow
I am looking to get an idea of cheapest childcare options in Glasgow. What are the childminder cost in Partick area? Where is the ideal place to look for reliable childminders. I will be working from home soon and need someone to look after my 7 months baby during core working hours.
Hiya I think for nursery you might be between £55-£65 per day in Partick. My son goes to nursery in Ayrshire and I think we are £55 per day and that includes all meals. I initially looked at nurseries in the west end before as that’s where I work and that’s what the prices were like last year. Child minder will be cheaper but probably not by much. With nursery you don’t need to worry about one staff member being off sick and not having childcare. Also, my friends who use childminders need to provide their child with their own food. At nursery they get a full menu that’s full of fresh fruit and veg and a hot meal (I know you could do that via packed lunch but adds hassle if you’re working every day) xx
