It looks long enough that you could give her pig tails or something to keep it out of her eyes instead of cutting it if you don’t want to

My daughters hair like this now at 15 months (but ringlet curls). Every time the possibility of a hair cut is bought up I just shut it down and say that I clip her fringe back or she has a pony tail or piggies to keep it out the way

I mean.. she’d look so cute with a little fringe! I think you just have to embrace each stage as it comes. For my sons first haircut we went to a kids hairdresser and they gave us a dated certificate and a little envelope so we could keep his baby curls ♥️

Get some soft bobbles and tie it up? My little one is 2 and a half and hasn’t had her first hair cut yet ❤️❤️

Why is it that you have to wait as long as you possibly can for babies first hair cut?

I got asked if I was cutting my LG at the back so it doesn’t look layered 🤷🏼‍♀️ and the husband keeps saying we should cut her fringe. No fricking way. I’ve got clips for that or a hair bobble.

Just buy some toddler clips to clip her hair to the side

Just get some baby hair clips or bands and tie it in a top knot x

Pigtails! Xx

I say cut it, it’ll look ever cuter! You’ll see! 💕

My girls 20 months never had a cut 😅

My daughters hair was just like this and I cut bangs. It was so bad.

My boy has his diet cut before Xmas at 5 month. Just a tiny trim, so it was no longer poking him in the eyes

My daughters is like that too I got little hair ties and clips just to keep it out their faces, ifshe can keep a clip it id try that first rather than a hair cut just yet, she's beautiful 😍

I just got are daughter fringe done so it was out of her eyes and let the rest grow out

I was fine with it, I got a lock of my daughters hair from her first haircut & put it into her baby journal. I also took photographs from when my daughter had her first haircut, I made it out to be an exciting experience for her first time & had a hairdressers appointment booked around the same time. We now have a mummy/daughter time with hair appointments as she comes with me every 6 weeks💇🏼‍♀️ I'm not that sentimental about hair etc... I celebrate my daughters firsts, after all its a one time thing. It becomes the 'norm' after that. So yes its a 'big' deal but, in a good way.

Hi, I just wanted to say that I am a hairdresser, mom of two little lovely girls and I am very good with kids haircut.. if you ever struggle with going to a hair salon for baby haircut feel free to message me, I’ll be happy to help!🥰

BTW if you cut the 'bits in her eyes' you're giving her a full fringe which will be harder to grow out as she gets older, I'd just clip it back/to the side or tie it up or even french braid it back (this works the best) we've been training my LG hair and its just about long enough to tuck behind her ears now x

I have had this problem with my little girl for months now. She’s 14 months and her hair falls over her mouth nearly but cos it’s different lengths it’s hard to manage. I do put it up when I can but would love to have it cut. I know she wouldn’t sit still at all though xx

When I took my toddler for a haircut they didn't cut the hair away from her eyes. They said baby/toddler hair grows forward at first so if you cut a fringe it will be really hard to grow out and will look odd eventually. So we just use a bobble/clip. The bobble works best tbh as the clips fall out a lot

Cut it and save parts of it for memories

Or you can use hair accessories

I learnt how to cut my own boys’ hair and even Hubbys. Boys need a shave (once you start) every 4w and I thought it’d be quicker and cheaper for me to do at home. I cut and dye my own hair too.

With my girls that’s easy coz I tied it up, I styled it
