@Lydia if it's what works for you then, it works 👍🏼
Consider trying it maybe, I know for me, using a stern voice just upsets him and makes him more likely to ignore me. Then he uses that voice with me at a different point if he’s mad at me. If he goes to nursery do they do anything specific to get him to listen?

No I mean a lot of classrooms have a specific chant or rhyme to get all the kids to stop what they’re doing! Like “123, all eyes on me” Ask them what they use x
@Lydia I know they have a bell, when it's time to tidy up, maybe I'll try that 😆 seriously tho, thanks I'll investigate x

If I do a really annoying fake happy voice like miss Rachel my son is more likely to listen and not get arsy about instructions. To anyone listening I sound ridiculous and so sarcastic but 🤷🏻♀️ he listens that way
