Helmet Treatment
Hi everyone 👋🏼 my baby girl is 8 months and has plagiocephaly due to her torticollis, and will be starting helmet treatment next week. I’m a little nervous about what to expect and how she’ll adjust, so any advice/tips & support is greatly appreciated 🤍
Totally normal to be nervous! I feel like it's actually harder on the parents than it is on the baby haha your LO should get used to it after a couple days. It's pretty sweaty and gross in there but worth it imo. It typically is quite successful! My daughter wore hers for 2 months and we took it off "early". She was within a normal range but not perfect, but we figured her hair would cover the rest. Good luck!!
