We had an ikea one with our first and it was great! I planned to use it with our second but he lives for the boob and we're cosleeping at the moment. Eventually I think we'll get him a floor bed so I can feed him to sleep and sneak away.

I got a cot handed down from my sister so ask around - someone you know is probably getting rid of one! Alternatively people are often selling really nice ones cheap on Facebook Marketplace. Then you just need to buy a new mattress 😊
