12w today ...pains around my left buttcheek?

Hey ladies, I am 12 weeks today after a turbulent fertility journey. Starting yesterday, I've had some pains in my lower back and my left butt cheek only? It feels like a sharp pain when I'm trying to lie down into bed or sitting on the toilet. I googled it and it said that it could be sciatica where the growing uterus puts pressure on the sciatic nerve, but it seems that this is more common in the third trimester? I'm just wrapping up my first trimester and I don't have a baby bump or anything! Did anyone else experience this early on?
