Oh no 🤣 I haven't looked at that one 😅
I have the Nuna Mixx from my first and I love it! I found the Ocarro really heavy and hard to fold, even the sales assistant in M&Ps was struggling to demonstrate it to us 🤣 the Nuna feels really lovely quality and I love the little features like magnetic fastenings and the snooze shades built in to the carrycot and the car seat. I just find it really user friendly compared to lots of the others we looked at. Have you seen them in person? X
I’ve settled on the oyster 3 luxury bundle in mink with the cybex cloud T car seat. This brand looks similar to egg but cheaper and the car seat appears to last the longest (up to 2 years) and it spins. It’s an absolute minefield and I hate it 😂😂😂
We brought the mamas and papas flipxt3 and we love it x
Have you been and tried both out? We considered the Ocarro until we tried it out. Found it very heavy to push around and lift when folded (was kindly told my the M&P sales woman that it’s because I’m pregnant so I’m not putting enough effort into it 😒) turns out that’s because at 13.5kg it’s one of the heavier systems on the market, also found the process of folding it down far more convoluted than other systems
@Jessica I honestly don’t get why the Ocarro is so popular, it’s so heavy and clunky!!
@Lauren I don’t think it helps that the sales staff are trained to promote that system. A lot of first time mums like me are clueless on what they need and so naturally you will be looking for the guidance from the professionals
As a clueless FTM I bought the occaro and I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s so big and heavy. I think we thought we were investing in quality but I wished we had saved our money and gone for the nuna
Nuna mixx is what we had for my 1st and im so sad I'm having to get a double because i love it! We were going to go for the ocarro but its sooooo heavy!!!
@Jessica exactly, it’s very biased towards the Ocarro if you go there. John Lewis were good, or if there’s an independent retailer nearby then even better!
@Sadie I’d recommend looking at YouTube videos from “the stroller workshop” they are a pram repairs company so have tons of insights on common issues etc, without any affiliation I’m still also keen on the nuna mixx but they make some interesting points on its “bendyness” There are some videos where they also make some price/quality comparisons specially with uppababy Cruz/vista and the and cybex balios s lux 2023 https://youtu.be/yznUfVP8FRE?si=2Ro_yvylOWqEj-62
Ah all you lovely ladies!! I love you, you've made me feel much more confident in my decision! I thought the Ocarro was heavy when I tried it and the Sales Assistant kind of pushed it on me a bit. But in my heart I liked the Nuna from the get go with John Lewis. I think I'll go with the Nuna. Thank you, you've helped me so much! Xx
@Lauren it is. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there are parents for who the Ocarro is perfect, but it should be down to what is suitable for that set of parents not what the salesperson has been told to push. When we had our appointment were told physically steered away from looking at anything other than that one pram
@Gabriella Exactly what I got, lovely isn’t it 😍

I had Nuna mixx for my first … it was okay done the job, for second I got mountain buggy and absolutely loved it and will have for third too :))
I have the ocarro from my first and it’s so flipping big and heavy, it’s lovely to push but I would definitely avoid going for something so bulky x
How well does the Nuna mix fold into the car? I have a VW golf for reference 😂
@Amber I have a golf, it folds fine with the seat part of the pushchair on as that folds up in the pushchair, but the carrycot I used to put in the backseat when I only had one baby! You can collapse it so it will fit in the boot, I was just lazy 😂
@Lauren thank you that’s really helpful ☺️ x
I looked at the ocarro, settled on the oyster 3 though. Had really good reviews, nice and light, good suspension and actually looks really nice too
