For example, tonight I've just put baby down and ill go prep a few bottles of water that's been boiled ready for her feeds. The manufacturer advised water is okay at room temperature for 24 hours. Hope this helps x
Exactly what Georgia said, you will get the hang of it it took me a while x
So basically you boil the kettle put the correct amount of water into all bottles for the day and wall away let it cool down to room temp and when you need a bottle add formula shake it and feed The water can be kept in the bottle for 24hours before you need to start again with sterilising bottles etc Hoping this makes sense
@Georgia so you can leave them out on the bench or should I cool them in the fridge? How do you prepare them when you’re out xx
@Lucy I keep them in the cupboard out of sunlight and just put some bottles in my bag with the right amount of cooled boiled water in for when we're out and then just add pre measured formula pot, give good shake and it's good to go xx
I pour boiled water into bottles and leave them on the side then add formula when she needs a feed
@Georgia thank you he has projectiled every bottle since trying it and just screaming worse than he’s ever done.
@Lucy how longs he been on it for? It took a while for my little girl to settle on it. We ended up asking for Carobel thickener and that really helped her reflux. She used to projectile vomit quite a lot xx
Easy way to do it (and it's safe, I checked with the manufacturer!) is prepare a few bottles in advance of boiled water and let them cool before adding formula. I got so stressed with it at first but it's the easiest formula! Don't add the formula to boiling water as it kills the good bacteria x
