I had my little girl at Margate in October and they were amazing, couldn’t praise them enough…we were in for 4 days and they made what was a tough time easier for us all :) xx

I had my little girl at WHH 6 weeks ago and I could not fault their care. Absolutely amazing and a lovely experience xx

The team at Margate hospital were amazing considering I had a very long induction, labour and then ultimately emergency C section. I wasn’t expecting the amount of genuine care and attention I got from everyone, aside from 2 midwives who sounded like they needed to find new jobs, luckily they were only changing bedding 😅 The only negative I would say is that the room I was in for labour and delivery was horrible. No windows, en-suite toilet smelt bad and I could spot mould here and there also in recovery ward. The whole building needs a makeover really… I’d considered going to William Harvey because the building is newer, but I’ve stuck with Margate as the team make it so much better! Hope that helps lovely. P.S. I had my baby Feb 2023 and due again this June 2024 so all recent 😊

Something to note is that if one hospital is full when you go into labour you will be asked to go to the other. I called up WHH after having baby for advice and the number automatically diverted to QEQM because they didn’t have capacity for anyone in triage or labour and delivery and was told they wouldn’t have the staff to talk to me/see me until 12 hours later.

I had a really positive experience throughout my pregnancy and labour at William Harvey. The midwives were amazing

Very positive experience at WH overall, was a stressful birth experience but the midwives were lovely and i had a c section in the end and the doctors in there were amazing, reassuring and calm x

I’ve chosen WHH xx

Thank you all!!!

I had my little girl at QEQM in November, All of the midwives were amazing including the student midwives. I was in labour for 13 hours but I ended up with an emergency c-section but i felt so relaxed about it because all of the staff were so calming! Xxx

My experience at William Harvey few weeks ago was not a good one🥲🥲I nearly lost my baby...I still haven't recovered from what I went through...I pray I get over it soon...😭😭😭

I had my little girl in QEQM in august and they were absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer team. They helped with anything. I had my eldest back in 2021 at William Harvey and unfortunately I can’t say the same… it was a very traumatic experience. Margate was aware of this and made sure I was happy with every step. They even made a lactation consultant (the most sweetest person) come in and she spent ages just chatting to me and made me so comfortable. I honestly can’t recommend margate enough

I had my baby in Margate and midwives were great there 🥰 i had a very nice experience there , it just if one of them is busy they send you to the other , happened to me ,i am from ashford and WHH maternity ward was closed for whatever reason and i had to go in Margate 😁
