Ickle bubba is supposed to be really bad for newborns. They say from birth but the car seat creates chin to check. I’m not sure on size but Joie it’s a top brand for travel systems

Based off a simple google search I would say when folded, it should be able to fit yes. Although if you’re not sure, I see you’re in derby so a quick trip to mothercare, bambino’s and beyond in burton or planet baby and I’m sure they’ll be able to check for you x

Definitely get a different car seat. The ickle bubba is an awful fit for newborns & they’re also only tested to the bar minimum and perform quite badly in further tests. But yes the actual pram would fit in your boot x

Take a look at the Car Seat Safety UK page on Facebook. So many car seats are terrible for newborns especially ones that come as part of a bundle! They’ll be able to give you some options if you tell them what car you’ve got x

The dangers of this car seat are chin to chest which can cause asphyxiation and death, only around 5% of babies get a good fit in this seat and that’s when they’re around 4 months. It’s not really a case of, it was okay for me so will be fine for you, if you know what I mean. Personally it isn’t worth even the smallest chance of risk using this car seat x

@Kelly this position is the dangerous one we are talking about, he could fall asleep and asphyxiate without you knowing🫣 for the sake of a child’s life, this is the exact reason these car seats aren’t good xx

@Kelly over reaction?? Over the last 5 years around 300 children have died from chin to chest in car seats. I think you saying it’s an over reaction is disgusting and even encouraging this mum to risk her child’s life. As well as 47% of deaths due in car seats to positional asphyxia

You can get the pram. But please swap out the car seat

I think we need to be mindful in how we give advice. It can be well meaning but the tone can be off. also if 1/2 people have already said a point no need for multiple people too. Just comes across as dogpiling. It seems very obvious from comments stated already that the car seat isn’t the best. Ok, what next. Maybe let’s focus on solutions rather than continuously go on about the car seat isn’t good. Let’s be helpful

@Opeyemi no because even though multiple people have stated it’s not a good car seat, the OP is still considering the ickle bubba one. Multiple people have also suggested alternatives

I love my ickle bubba pram!! It’s so light. Compact and just great to push around. My mum has a ford fiesta and it fits in hers x

Go to an actual pram shop and try it out. They should also let you try it I. The car to check. Then order online if you like it.

Completely agree with the comments regarding the car seat. It’s deffo worth researching yourself and if you still want to buy that travel system, then that’s up to you but I personally wouldn’t be able to put my child in something that could potentially cause them harm or even death. An informed decision is the best decision

I have the stomp luxe with the stratus car seat.. we have a vw t roc and the base on the boot needs to be lowered for us to fit it in (the wheels are quite chunky) I love the pram however I wouldn’t recommend the car seat.. my little one was fine when the newborn insert was in place but when we had to take it out he was noticeably uncomfortable and was in a chin to chest position when fell asleep! We now have the joie I level recline which is great and they do have a travel system that is a similar price (also the Joie car seat attachs the the Ickle bubba base 😊)

Have you seen it in person? We were going to get this system but when we went to see it in person we felt the quality was really lacking but this is obviously personal opinion. I agree with what everyone is saying re the car seat though I would get a different one because the ickle bubba ones are known to give a poor fit and it’s just not worth the risk
