6w low heart rate and my hCg progress

Went in for a follow up at the ER for some bleeding I had. We saw a little fetal poll that was flickering around. They measured the heart rate at 74mp but said it could’ve been just my own heart rate they were detecting and not the baby. They weren’t sure. Is that too low? Anyone had/ have this experience? Also my hCg levels were 14967 HCG the first time I went and 4 days later 21,995 HCG. Is that healthy progression? I was label threatened miscarriage (they found peri gestural bleeding they said may or may not go away) I’m so tired of being worried and scared. If anyone can shed some light would be great. I’m also over 35 so I don’t if that’s why they are so easy with leading me to expect a miscarriage.

Think the heart rate is usually higher than that, and hcg usually doubles every 48 hours, try not to worry seeing a heartbeat is great.

At 6 weeks sometimes it’s difficult to pick up a heart rate but yes a heart rate for a baby is normally upwards of 100bpm so 74 is on the low end. I wouldn’t worry too much about hcg as mine didn’t progress the way most do and my daughter is now 11 weeks old. I hope it all goes well for you best of luck 🤞
