Food shop with baby

I do my food shop with the baby in the car seat , but it’s so hard to see around the car seat I spend more time crashing into people and things 😂😂

I either put the car seat in the trolley or put my baby girl in a sling to go round

I think Asda & M&S have started to have the trollies you can clip car seats in to, hopefully other supermarkets follow!

I’ve popped him in the sling. They aren’t meant to spend very long in a car seat, my shop takes me a good half hour plus the journey time there and back, it would be a bit long for me to have baby in the car seat.

I use the pram and put the basket on top of the pram lol

They have trollies literally every supermarket I’ve been to with car seat holders, so you get the trolley space and pop the car seat on top - there’s a strap to keep it in place! I’ve been aldi, Morrisons, Tesco, sainsburys, they all have them 😊 you get no space plonking them in the trolley !!

I don't even bother with supermarkets and order online deliveries, so much easier 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would use the pram (not car seat attachment) or a carrier. They shouldn’t be kept in car seats for long periods of time.

I normally just put her in the trolley and shove the stuff in the gaps round the car seat. The trolleys where you put the car seat on the top I find I can’t see over enough to see where I’m going

I just asked my partner then same thing who has returned to work today so I’m on my own! I’m just going to do scan as you shop and put stuff straight into bags and in the bottom of our pram x

Thanks girls! In the end I put the basket on the pram, and used a clip to put a couple bags on the end and it seemed to work! 😊

I do click and collect home delivery or I’d put baby in the sling. So much easier

I send my husband to shop 🙈
