You need to look at macros and BMR.
You have your own personal amount of calories you can eat.
I have tried them but put the weight back on years ago but my daughter helped me with her nutrition guide and recipes so easy every day meals full of protein and for the whole family
And I have managed to loose 20 kg and keep it off over 12 months
