Blood in baby poo
We gave our almost 5 month old a taste of 4-6m baby porridge, and the the tiniest taste of ice cream a couple days ago (literally brushed the ice cream on his lip) and last night there seemed to be blood in his poop, although he seems fine in himself, Google says may be a milk allergy? Anyone had similar?x

@Bruna no we didn’t need to do anything, GP said if it happens the next nappy then to come back but if it was only a couple of times then it could have been his body getting used to processing porridge as it was only his first time x

Could be anything from an infection, allergy or even an anal fissure. Best to just get checked by a doctor, they can do a stool test. If its consistently like this then seek immediate medical attention for peace of mind
