Am I crazy for being upset?

So my son started going to a new daycare. He got sick as kids do and we weren’t able to go to his hair appointment. Yesterday when he came home from daycare I noticed something was different and when I really looked at him I noticed that his teacher had cut his hair… Yes his hair was long and it was starting to get into his eyes but don’t you think it’s a parent’s decision when to take their child for a hair cut? And if he had done something to his hair that they needed to cut something out of it don’t you think they should have said something to me?

I would have *lost it* 🫠👎🏼

the teacher has no right to cut your child’s hair wth 😣 even if he took a bit out of it himself they shouldn’t be interfering!

Omg you’re not crazy at all that is completely unacceptable.

WHAT i would go mental

I would complain!

Just reading this made me PISSED so i can only imagine how you're feeling. This is sick 😵‍💫

No, no and NO! It’s things like this that scare me about taking my LG to nursery. Obvs I want her to get the social interaction…..but I worry how I’ll react to these incidents. Your kid can grow his hair down to his bum if he and you want, it’s none of their business 😡

Absolutely would have lost my shit at that teacher, who the fuck do they think they are!

Yea I would of lost my biscuit (head).. I would of had lots of choice words to say 🤬

That's definitely crossing a line

🤬

I would flip tf out.

that legally is assault and the teacher should be fired for assaulting a minor. i’d pull my kids from the class/school and make a police report. that’s a serious violation of their personal space. even if there was something stuck in his hair they should have called to let you know instead of cutting it out. that’s a huge overstep and crossing so many boundaries. why would they feel comfortable to take scissors and cut your child’s hair? hellll no

Ohhhh I would have been lividdddd. Luckily my partners mum is a hair dresser. She asked me if she could cut her hair cos it was in her eyes and i said yes. I told her whenever she thinks she needs it trimmed she can do it. But if that was me and someone had done it at daycare without asking nor being a professional i would have flipped!!! Xx

I would be really annoyed

That is not okay!

I’d be absolutely furious!!! It’s assault for a start and it’s none of their damn business if they think his hair is to long. It’s your decision when to cut it, not theirs! Absolutely put in a complaint!

As a previous nursery practitioner this is not acceptable!

Ummmm no. That’s not okay.

Oh hell no! You are not crazy and have every right to be upset.

I’m Australia you can charge them with assault for cutting your child’s hair without written permission. So I wouldn’t say you’re overreacting. I would’ve lost my 💩 then and there.
