How much?

I was advised 1/2 scoop per 3oz but she was on a full scoop per 4oz before it made a difference ☺️ Trial and error really, we’ve been in it for months now and she’s still going strong with it, we now have between 8oz &11oz bottles so she has max of 2 scoops now xx

We only started yesterday. He has 7 or 8oz and using half a scoop at the moment! He did bring milk up this morning so most likely going to increase

All I will say is, persevere… it will seem hard at first as it affects their poo and can cause constipation, my little one ended up with poos like play doh.. at which point the doctor prescribed lactulose for her he suggested 2.5 ml of it for 3 days and we actually only gave her 1 shot of it and she cleared out and was perfect ever since xx

we use 1.5 scoops for 7 oz, started with 1 scoop and built up, she got really really constipated for a couple days though and we used some gripe water which sorted that problem out within 10 mins x

@Katy honestly I had no idea what I was looking at when I opened the nappy 🙈 that’s all I could think of 😂 the receptionist at the doctors laughed at me too 😆 xx

Thank you . It's a shame my doctors can't get it. I'm not sure if I'd be able to go to the pharmacy and just get it . I'm still unsure if it's reflux or allergy though urgh 😭

i buy it from the pharmacy because my doctors don’t prescribe it, it’s like £5 a box and lasts maybe 2 weeks? it’s not bad xx

yeah they didn’t say a word! Its behind counter in my chemist so i just go in and ask for it and just buy it lol x

@Nicole Did her poo go back to normal? We are one week on and still play doh poos! Finley seems to really strain & have bad trapped wind.

@Becca after the dose of lactulose she did go through a patch of normal poo but it started to thicken again so we made the decision to move onto cow and gate comfort as it aids colic and constipation using that alongside the carobel for months now and she’s regular, goes 1-2 times a day and they’re normal poos ☺️ x

@Becca she’ll still get thick poos now and then so we use gripe sometimes xx

@Nicole Amazing thanks so much! Our little boy is on high kcal milk, his weight gain was so low due to reflux he's been put on it. But when we can go to regular milk I think I will buy this as I've heard really good things!

@Nicole we was on cow and gate comfort and was using gaviscon, and it made him constipated, so come of it even though I know it's the gaviscon that courses constipation but we are doing a trail of a laxative to see if that helps with all his symptoms which thankfully isn't , still the same atm with the pooping has been like this since birth, makes me think whether it's a allergy , it's so bloody hard not knowing x

@incognito yes all other milks made her reflux terrible, kendamil didn’t work with her carobel, she ended up doing poos that had mucus and blood in them, doctor trialed the nutrimigen milk but that just made her reflux so bad! Didn’t matter how much thickener we added it came back up so bad… we then decided to go to cow and gate comfort with the carobel and we have never looked back! The two together work perfectly for our daughter, she goes toilet regularly and they’re normal and her reflux is bare minimum.. she brings up maybe not even half an ounce now when burping which is so much better..
