What are you ‘unesscessary’ baby buys that you just couldn’t imagine being without???

I know the advice a lot of the time is you don’t need much etc etc but what are the gadgets you love from motorised pushchairs, baby monitors that track heartbeats and oxygen levels, motion cribs, the lot. 🤣 Or, things you’ve seen but would have bought in hindsight.

Silver nipple cups BBHUGME TRIPP TRAPP chair with newborn/baby/toddler attachments

@Marie tell me more. Just googled all of them and 😍 Tripp trap for new horns 😏 Also keen to know how you found the pillow, I’m so scared I’ll get one and it will be shit and lumpy over time 🤣 I’d rather not end up buying multiple.

lol I had the nipple cups in my basket, will defo be buying them now!

I have the V-tech baby monitor with the screen to see baby and oh my god even tho my baby isn’t here yet I already know this will be a game changer

We love our rockit for the pushchair and our joie Sansa chair

I got the graco all ways soother chair and it was a game changer

@Jasmine ooo fancy and I love it 🤩

@Hayley Albery love it, so this is what we have in mind. We know it’s over the top but c’mon https://www.amazon.co.uk/baby-reg/your-registry/2EIFXMJTNXOSW?ref_=br_mw_tbnr_yr#br-yr-smartshelf-I15WZ2JPBTQUK2_1707827281135

Baby Bjorn bouncer is worth every penny. Also having a baby monitor and snuza provides a more peaceful sleep for everyone

It won’t let me view it as it’s on wish list xx

@Hayley Albery Nanit Pro Complete Baby Monitoring System Bundle – Includes 1080p Over The Cot Camera, Travel Multi-Stand, Breathing Wear Band - Tracks Newborn Sleep and Breathing Motion Sensor-Free - Night Vision https://amzn.eu/d/9bgkIeA

Ah that’s so cool xx

But then I discovered this one Owlet Monitor Duo - Cam and Smart Sock 3 - Baby Monitor with HD Video Camera - Night Vision and Audio - Track Heart Rate, Oxygen and Sleep Trends (0-18 months) https://amzn.eu/d/cXYKjXv

See me and my partner are so restricted cos of our finances

@Hayley Albery I haven’t bought anything yet and tend to be on the cheap side so lots of the things I like, I then go looking on Facebook marketplace. One of the things I have my eye on is the crib system below which is pretty pricey but then you go marketplace and you have people selling It for £100, it’s modular too 😏 https://www.kiddies-kingdom.com/cotbeds/52775-tutti-bambini-cozee-xl-complete-birth-to-4-years-package-oakcharcoal.html?sv_tax1=googleads&utm_campaign=PMax+%7C+Hero+Products+%7C+IK+%7C+8%&sv_tax3=IK&utm_term=&sv_cost=18134700147&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAw6yuBhDrARIsACf94RVp-kl6zrsvI_FitTH-0CPX1B2xxK1npY6l2BON2vJmXo3JEZG8yPAaAvi0EALw_wcB

@P the pillow is loads of tiny little balls so it won’t be lumpy over time. It’s great, you can use it for breastfeeding and tummy time and just for general comfort whilst sitting with baby etc… even good for other people holding baby as you arms don’t ache cos you can rest them fully on it. Tripp trapp is a godsend for baby in the kitchen. We’ve just moved ours into the chair part and she is living the dream being sat up. I like the fact that it’s a seat for life. Costs a lot but lasts a lifetime….. silver nipple cups are brilliant for breastfeeding, sorted my nips out in no time at all.

@P do it. I barely used the cream once I started with the nipple cups

Sleepyhead. Didn’t think I’d use it and it was a lifesaver. The ability to put her down in sight whilst I did chores or relaxed on the sofa with her safely, amazing.

A swing and a bouncer. Never thought those would have so much use (obviously within reason!) as we used ours.

Totally agree with silver nipple cups, they saved me in the early weeks and are again when my baby has lovingly decided to clamp down! Also the TrippTrapp chair with newborn attachment, made being in the kitchen so much better! A baby bjorn bouncer, but other brands will be fine. This was the only seat my little boy will stay in, we tried loads of different ones.
