Following this as having same issue

Frida has this booger sucker thing Omg it is the best I used it on my baby as I could hear the mucus when she was breathing It got a lot of mucus out and she was immediately calm after it was all done She could breathe soooo much better

We use the Nosefrida snotsucker kit it’s amazing!

@Kirstie yeah!

@Kassia I have this but I was scared to use it 🙈 the saline spray seems quite fierce when it comes out

@Laura is definitely part of the reflux 😏 going through it all with my lil one

My 3 week old has it too and community midwife advised going to gp so they can check his chest over just to be safe as sometimes it almost sounds like the mucus is stuck at top of the throat

Mine had the same issue. I used a humidifier and with my bassinet I was able to prop it up a little bit. I also used a saline mister instead of the drops because it’s more enjoyable for baby and I found it loosened everything better than the drops. I used frida mom nose sucker also

https://www.boots.com/sterimar-baby-nasal-hygiene-0-3-years-50ml-10112027 This is great for blocked nose! We have also used the snot sucker!

I had the same issue with my baby since day 4 and now 3 weeks old. First midwife told me it’s normal for c section babies but i think he catched a cold. Struggled alot with breathing and kept waking from sleep. This is what helped me: Colief saline nasal spray ( drops doesn’t seem to help loosen up and spray works wonders. Tried few sprays and colief one is the best) Use a humidifier As soon as baby is up for a feed, spray them. Once feeding is half way or done use the frida nose sucker. You need to give sometime for the spray to loosen up. Feeding time helps. Then put the baby to sleep. This helped me

@Laura saline spray? You just gotta suck them boogers out! My husband and I did it I held the baby and put the end of the device at her nostril and he sucked. I was surprised how much snot it sucked out

If you’re breast feeding, a few drops of expressed breast milk up the nostril worked wonders for my little one, cleared her nose out really well

@Kassia we tried it tonight and managed to get a little bit out of the one nostril so we shall see if it makes a difference tonight 🙏🏻

@Laura only a little bit? Maybe try it a few more times just to make sure you really get a good suction on the nose. When I tell you I was surprised by the amount of mucus that was in my baby’s nose…🤣 But I could hear the sound of mucus blocking her nose, but I couldn’t see any boogers. Then we used the frida and I saw some start to come out, so I kept going until there was nothing left!

Any recommendations for humidifiers? Currently going through this with my little girl who is nearly 3 weeks!

@Kassia how old is your baby? I have the same problem with my two weeks old but I don’t know whether she will allow me to put anything in her nose lol

@Nikolet she is 6 weeks old now, but was 5 weeks old when I did it Also, you don’t have to put it in her nose! Just at the entrance of the nose and suck on the tube. You want to cover the nostril so that you can get a good suction :)

@Kassia I see thank you ☺️
