Why aren’t midwives giving the covid vaccine to pregnant women anymore?

Probably because they know of the problems it has caused x

@Carla absolutely 💯% agree, I refused to have it bc so many of my friends had so much problems bc of it

They are. It's given as a seasonal vaccine just like the flu vaccine Although it's not administered by midwives

They are. I had mine done at the pharmacy. Is not administered by the midwife. But my midwife told me to book it on the NHS website.

@Carla yes this is what makes me not want it.

I’ve not had it and I won’t be having it epically when I haven’t decided if I have stopped having children x

In fact I didn't had any vaccines throughout my pregnancy and even if I wasn't pregnant back then I wouldn't have it either

I think they are back tracking because they have seen the damage

U inline o

I've had it both pregnancies no issues, they inform you about it now but don't push you to have it

They are? Current RCOG guidance is to have it during pregnancy, so midwives should be asking if you’d like to have it, and then you book into the relevant place to have it done, they aren’t the ones that give it.

They weren’t when I was pregnant but they are now

@Lucy as of yet

@Chloe they should be ashamed

Nobody is forcing you to do anything you don’t want to. It’s up to you whether you have it or not 🤷🏻‍♀️
