Pretty early on

I was wondering the same thing this morning!

I wash all new clothes even for myself.

honestly pretty early. we didn’t have a washing machine in our home for the first 8 months, and as a single mom it’s almost impossible to get laundry done weekly. half the time i wouldn’t get to the laundry mat 3 weeks to a month after the last time i had washed. so i got into the habit of buying new clothes almost every time i went to the store and just letting her wear them.

Probably after my daughter was born 😂 I washed everything before she arrived but once she was here I didn’t have time to wash clean clothes!

After she was born!

Ahhh thankyou ladies, my LO is nearly 3 months and she leaked her clothes today and all I had in the bag at the time was a brand new outfit still with tags so it just got me thinking haha

Probably around 1 year old.

I didn’t start to begin with but then I think there’s more awareness now.

I still wash my own new clothes before I wear them 🤷🏻‍♀️

Never lol, you should also do it for your own clothes, how many gross people you think tried them on in store before you bought it? How long and in which conditions have them been stored in some dusty warehouse before to reach the store or yourself after online order?

About now lol 4M basically same situation tho My son needed some pants and all I had that he could fit was new and I was kinda just like oh well we using what we got

Never stopping. That distinctive “new clothes” smell is the formaldehyde they get sprayed with. That can’t be good for anyone’s skin, especially not a baby. And they’ve been through the most disgusting warehouses & store rooms before they get to you. Only time he’s worn unwashed ones is when he’s had major poop explosions when we were out & we had to buy spares😂

17 months and still wash first. When i buy something new i just throw it in the laundry basket right away. In an emergency situation you do what you’ve got to do.

I still wash them. Clothes can still have chemicals from being made and then being touched by multiple people in the store. Just safer to wash the clothes.

I suggest you wash baby’s as well as your whole family’s new clothes right after buying or before wearing. All new clothes have little or more chemical in it used during the manufacture process and it can sometimes cause allergies. Secondly you never know who has tried those clothes in the store before you and you cannot trust the store 100% that they would do the cleaning process on every tried clothes. Skin diseases have grown more in people than before due to chemicals and food we consume nowadays. I never wear any clothes without washing and the same will apply to my baby too.

I wouldn't wear anything myself without washing it so definitely wouldn't for my child x

Never
