Cute pregnancy announcement idea to parents??

I found these scratch tickets on Amazon

My parents live in a different country so I called them and told them they are going to have travel to the UK next year(we told them last year) They looked confused for a sec before we told them why

Luckily I had birthdays so got my sister an aunty card to open in front of everyone on my mums side, then a grandad one for my dad to open at his birthday meal in front of everyone x

We have these alphabet magnets on the fridge, we spelt out “you’re gonna be grandparents” and hung up a scan photo. When they arrived (just a visit as we live 5 hours away) we covered the fridge with a cloth just while everyone settled down and then uncovered it and waited for them to notice. We both tried not to piss ourselves laughing as it took them soo long to notice, they kept walking past it completely oblivious it was hilarious 😂

My daughters announcement to my mom we did a box of nothing Bundt cakes, and said there’s a little Bundt in the oven and she loved the announcement and the cakes 🤣🩷

With our first we did it on Christmas and made a onsie "Baby our last name" put it in a box and wrapped it up as a gift then gave it to our parents. They were so confused and shocked but happy. Pretty funny reaction

My husband wants to put buns in everyone’s kitchen ovens…but I’m wondering if a photo may do better. Lol

Get everyone together for a group photo but instead of putting the timer on put a video record on and run into the “picture” and say I’m we’re pregnant! Then you have it recorded!

We have dogs so I ordered customizable dog bandanas and had my in laws see the bandanas, it was a cute way to reveal!!

I'm sending my mom multiple birthday cards from me and the baby her birthday is near the end of my first trimester then I'll let her tell the whole family. My BD family already knows

We got our parents valentine gifts with valentine onesies in them

With my son, I put grandma and grandpa est 2022 t shirts in a box with a Christmas ornament that said Grandparents Est 2022, and copies of ultrasound pictures for both sets of our parents! For this pregnancy, I'm not sure what I'll do...if anything 😂

For my first pregnancy, we just FaceTimed my parents (they are long distance) and gave my in-laws a baby book addressed to Grandma & Grandpa from Baby (last name). Sadly we lost that pregnancy. With my daughter, we waited until about 16-18 weeks and announced in-person at Christmas time! We took some lovely photos in the snow of us holding her ultrasound photos, framed them, and wrapped them up. Then we had all of our family members open them at the same time. Hearing all the women in my family let out the same excited screech at the same time was just the best 🥹 For this babe, I don’t know what we’ll do yet!
