Cramping pains- gas or food poisoning or is my baby not okay??

I woke up this morning with what felt like gas pain. Tried using the restroom and was unsuccessful but still had some really nasty abdominal cramping. I was rubbing my stomach hoping to help release some air but the cramping was so intense I started sweating and throwing up. All that came up was green bile. I’m still having cramping pains and have no idea what it could be. I don’t think it’s food poisoning because I’ve been eating a very bland diet due to food aversions and extreme morning sickness. I’m currently 12 weeks and 4 days and I’m worried if my baby is okay. Have you ever experienced this? If so what did it end up being?

If you’re not sure what it is please go ahead and check with your doctor . Someone close to me thought they just had cramping while pregnant and decided to just take Tylenol until the pain became to unbearable. By the time she went to the hospital it was too late for the baby.

And even if it is just gas you’d rather be safe than sorry.

I had something similar happen in my first trimester. The pain was unbearable, I went to my doctor to be safe and it ended up being a uti.

If you are worried please go to the doctor for the safety of your child

Definitely go to doctor. It could be just like indigestion or a kidney infection. I thought I had food poisoning. Not pregnant but went through something similar— i was cramping so sad it was unbearable & I was having diarrhea and bad indigestion. I ended up puking my brains out and everytime I was about to puke it felt like I was sweating & about to faint.

I would go straight to your doctor. In my experience when I felt this way I just really had to use the bathroom and would have to either lay down and wait for it to be ready to come out or sit on the toilet. And it was extremely painful. Idk why and neither did my doctor but both my babies came out healthy. And it only happened when I was pregnant too.

I had an ultrasound during my first trimester and was in pain for days after the ultrasound. I have fibroids on the outside of my uterus so the doc said it could have been ligament pain/ my fibroids being irritated. I would go to urgent care if the pains at a 10 for sure. Mine was at an 8 for all those days but finally it just eased up and I got another ultrasound & the baby is ok. You could just be growing. I hope that’s it.

Were dealing with norovirus right now, which is what this sounds like. But considering your pregnant, definitely better to get checked out!
