What do you do with your used pump?

I bought an elvie that I used for 2 months. And a medela that I used once. I just realized that you cannot sell these things on fb marketplace or anywhere because is considered a single user health item.. What to do with those things then? Just throw them away? It seems wasteful in so many ways.

Same boat. Looking forward to responses.

I have a friend who got one from a facebook group, but it was a "things for free" in her area group. I think she got a spectra without the tubing or anything that needs to be replaced.

You could donate them?

@Kary where? That is the thing.. if you even try to give it for free is treated as you want to give drugs for free.. it is so ridiculous. As cassie said the motor part never even touched the body. I think I'm going to try what Trina said and hope not to get banned. 🤞🏽

Try looking for a buy nothing group or a trading group on FB in your area. I'm in both where I love and women give away their used pumps all the time

People give them away via buy nothing groups on Facebook. Or through milk donation pages on Facebook. I’ve also seen them for sale on marketplace and Nextdoor but I don’t know for sure about regulations.

I bought mine on fb!

Pump_momma_pump on IG does a monthly pump post to donate your pumps to other mamas

Try to donate to Mather that is struggling or needs help ❤️

You can sell them - especially the motors. How much would you want to sell the Elvies for? I may be interested. Look up a group on FB called Mama Milk Buy and Sell Pumping Breastfeeding Items.
