Toilet seats

Were behind with potty training because my little boy is behind with his speech. Thinking of bypassing the potty and going straight to the toilet. Can anyone recommend any good toilet seats for toddlers? Also what do people do when they are going on the toilet and your out and about do you have a portable seat you have to take out with you for them to use? Thanks for any advice.
