Mine had a double ear infection and I felt so bad because during the day she was fine seemed just a tad congested so I figured it was just a cold and didn’t take her to the doctor until after the second night. I felt SO bad.
He is teething but he never does this when teething , I have an ear scope thing maybe I’ll check his ears today
When laying down it can cause increased pressure and pain in the ears, mine was also like this. I had to hold her for naps but for bedtime I was able to give her motrin and she was able to sleep in her crib. Also elevated her mattress so she wasn't laying down as flat. Good luck!
Looks like he does have a mild ear infection, thanks all! I would of never even checked until symptoms got worse !
I have been going through this for 2.5 months now. All of my sleep training went out the window when he learned to stand. I tried the same, going in after 5/10/15 laying him down until he’s calm. It doesn’t work, the second I leave he will stand and cry over and over for an hour. I don’t know what to do. Just here in solidarity.
My baby does the same. It’s been three weeks but he’s teething hard. Poor boy :( I just pick him up and rock him to sleep. He seems to need comfort. I know this might mess up his sleep training but I don’t care much cuz I can’t hear him screaming/ crying my anxiety goes thru the roof. We’re in this together 🙏🏼🫶🏼
Just want to check in and see how things went for everyone because I am now in the same boat and it would be great to hear that there’s some light at the end of the tunnel? 🥹 I was up searching and reading through posts here on Peanut trying to get some tips as did the same back and forth for over an hour last night with my daughter..
Is he teething? Or sick? Sounds like what my daughter does when she's teething
