He covers the nipple with a plaster when exercising and gets as much air to it as possible. Are you on Facebook? Please join the TSW groups - they are mega helpful. Sorry you are going through this, although I didn’t suffer myself, I know how hard it is. Sending you hugs. X
@Aps honestly it’s making me wonder whether it’s something more than nipple eczema. I’ve had a biopsy done and it indicated that there was no infection or cancer. I honestly cried my eyes out at one point thinking I had Paget’s disease of the breast. I’ve also been prescribed a shit load of antibiotics in the past which completely didn’t help. Gp’s were insisting it was an infection, they just weren’t used to dealing with this type of eczema I guess.
It’s crazy! I can’t go to work without breast pads on as my bras just get drenched in discharge and chaffing. I do air it out when I’m at home but of course nothing seems to help. Praying there’s some light at the end of the tunnel! It’s affecting me so so much. Thank you for sharing your partners experience xx
You poor thing! Are you suffering anywhere else on your body? My partner had full body TSW and the weepy/sore nipple flared up a couple of months after his TSW came to an end. He’s had this for around a year now! Very few DRs recognise TSW, you can find a list on ITSAN website. I recall DR Bewley (London area) came highly recommended - it might be worth exploring, if you can. I’m sure you don’t want to hear this but, time is a healer. Sending you love! Feel free to drop me a message at anytime xx
Hello! My partner has been through TSW. He is now out the other side (it was a long journey) however, he also has a weepy nipple, exactly as you described! He reluctantly visited the GP and they prescribed antibiotics although she did advise it wouldn’t go away without steroid cream… which is insane as this is what put him in the situation to start with. He persevered with it for months and months but caved into using a thin layer of hydrocortisone, which actually hasn’t helped.
